Hey everyone!
Welcome to Day 7 of my DevOps journey. Today, I continued exploring Shell Scripting, which has been an exciting and rewarding experience so far.
This is my Day 2 focused on Shell Scripting, where I covered some essential concepts, including Control Flow, Conditional Statements, User-Defined Functions, and even reading input from the user. Along the way, I delved into many other foundational topics as well.
One major highlight for me is getting more comfortable with the VIM editor and the overall syntax of Shell Scripting. That said, I still encounter a few basic syntax errors from time to time, mostly due to lapses in concentration. Whenever I face these issues, I make it a point to solve them by Googling the error. I’ve also been consciously avoiding using tools like ChatGPT unless I hit a serious roadblock.
Overall, today has been a productive and fulfilling day. I’m eager to continue this journey and share my progress with all of you!
That’s it for Day 7—thanks for reading!
